Forms & Policies

Attendance, Class Cancellations, and Make-up Classes

  • All classes require a minimum number of enrolled students for them to run. Every attempt will be made to notify students at least 24 hours prior to their first class if the course is canceled. In the event of a class cancellation, you have the option of a refund or a transfer to another class. Occasionally, a class may be canceled due to an unforeseen emergency or instructor's illness. In this case, make-up classes are assigned by the instructor.
  • Continuing Education Programs reserves the right to cancel classes, change rooms, locations, alter times, dates, instructors and/or tuition without prior notification if necessary. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and will make every attempt to accommodate students.
  • Letter of Attendance: Students receive a completion letter if they have attended at least 80% of a course that is 15+ hours. Certificate students are awarded a Certificate upon completion of their studies. Certificates can be requested online: Request Your Certificate. If you are a certificate student and want a course waived, you must submit a transcript proving that the course was completed in another location within the last two years.
  • For those who registered for a certifcate program on the basis of a payment plan, the payment plan option listed for it on the web applies. The payment plan will begin automatically 30 days after initial payment.
